Job Description:

The Hospital Industry Data Institute (HIDI), the data company of the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA), is seeking a programmer/analyst to be responsible for building and maintaining internal desktop applications and internal and external facing web applications.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training and experience required. A minimum of four years of experience working in a related setting is preferred.

Must have an understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), systems requirements, data processing and management, database concepts and languages and software development best practices, such as Agile. Knowledge of .NET Core 6.0 Framework, including Visual Studio, .NET programming languages (VB, C#), MVC, SQL Server, IIS 8.0 and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform is a must. Knowledge of Universe databases and PICK Basic programming is desirable.

This position is eligible for working remotely on a full-time basis. Ideally, candidate would live within driving distance from our corporate offices in Jefferson City, Missouri, as the employee will be requested to attend meetings in person from time to time. The employee must be able to travel to and from the corporate offices without any restrictions.
