Central Missouri Master Gardeners Presents: Making and Using Compost in the Garden

Cole County Extension Specialist Dhruba Dkahal will enlighten us on the joys of composting. All are welcome. 

This presentation will educate gardeners about compost and composting processes. We will learn about the benefits of compost in the soil, sources of good composting materials and materials to avoid during composting. The speaker will talk about the difference between green and brown materials used during composting. Participants will learn about methods of composting, site selection for compost pile and compost testing.
