Description

Come celebrate Christmas with the Jefferson City Cantorum as they perform your favorite Christmas classics, contemporary arrangments of yonder-year yuletides, and maybe an unfamiliar selection or two that will be sure to become your new Christmas favorite! Cantorum is under the direction of Suzanne Barner Kitchen, accompanied by Jan Houser and other guest instrumentalists.

"O Come, All ye Faithful" - Arr. Dan Forrest 

"The Christmas Song" (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) - Mel Torme/Robert Wells/Kirby Shaw 

"Comfort and Joy" (God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen) - Arr. Joseph M. Martin 

Prior to the performance, students of Jan Houser will play piano selections in the Miller Performing Arts Center lobby from 6-7 pm. 

Tickets are available online from the Miller Performing Arts Center (www.purplepass.com); local ticket outlets: Central Bank West, Hawthorn Bank East, and Capital Music; or direct from Cantorum members. Prices are $15 for adults, $7 youth or $35 for families (3-5 members).
