This holiday season, Covenant Pediatric Wellness Center is thrilled to announce its upcoming Sensitive Santa event, designed especially for children with sensory sensitivities, autism, or other complex needs. Scheduled for Saturday, December 14, this inclusive, family-centered event will offer a welcoming, calm environment where all children can experience the joy of meeting Santa without the usual sensory challenges.

What is Sensitive Santa?

For children who may feel overwhelmed by traditional holiday festivities, Sensitive Santa provides an alternative. The setting at Covenant will feature low lighting, minimal noise, and limited group sizes, creating a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere tailored to each child’s needs. Rather than waiting in long lines or navigating crowded spaces, families will be able to reserve specific appointment times, allowing their child to interact with Santa at their own pace.

Why Sensitive Santa Matters

Children with sensory processing challenges, autism, or anxiety often find holiday activities overstimulating. Sensitive Santa is a unique way to ensure that every child, regardless of their abilities, can participate in this joyful holiday tradition. Santa and his team are specially trained to work with children who communicate differently or need extra support, providing a comfortable experience that’s safe, magical, and memorable.
