What You'll Do

• Manage a focused caseload of criminal defense and civil rights matters
• Develop and execute trial strategies from case inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, evidentiary challenges, and appeals
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials
• Collaborate with an experienced litigation team and dedicated support staff
• Utilize advanced legal technology platforms including Clio, Lawmatics, and Lexis/Westlaw

Job Requirements

• 3–5 years of litigation experience
• Missouri Bar license in good standing
• Public defender or criminal defense experience strongly preferred
• Experience as lead or co-counsel in felony trials
• Strong courtroom advocacy and motion practice skills
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
