C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, temp-to-hire Folding Operator in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Folding Operator: $23/hr. + $2/hr. shift differential after successfully completing training; rotating 12-hour shift after training Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate folders according to job specifications. 
• Read and interpret job tickets and production instructions. 
• Adjust machine settings to accommodate various paper stocks, sizes and fold configurations. 
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency. 
• Inspect finished products for proper fold sequence, alignment and overall quality. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues. 
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain equipment cleanliness. 
• Record production data and report quality, maintenance or operational concerns. 
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 
• Work collaboratively with pressroom, bindery and production teams to meet customer delivery requirements.

Job Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year experience operating machinery.
• Must have the physical ability to lift (up to 60 lbs.), push, pull, stand, reach and/or stoop during shift
• Must have attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Must have a team-oriented attitude and commitment to continuous improvement and waste reduction. 
• Must have good work record and attendance record.
