Restoration Technician
Company Overview
Our company provides emergency services for water, fire, mold, and smoke damage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to an approximate area that covers a 60 mile radius. We are available day and night to serve our community in times of need.
Position Overview for Cleaning Technician/Water & Fire Restoration Technician:

As a Restoration tech, you will inspect, monitor, and complete tasks to ensure completion of drying, demolition, and other various restoration duties.
Job Responsibilities/Tasks
- Perform water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation repair as directed to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removal/disposal of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, light construction, and demolition
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- May perform other services we offer including cleaning duties (i.e. construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, mold remediation, carpet and upholstery cleaning, duct cleaning, etc)
- Complete assigned job tasks according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job
- Responsible for on-job documentation through company applications and any other necessary paperwork. This includes, but is not limited to: monitoring jobs and utilizing company software application, taking photos before, during, and completion photos on jobs
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Clean background * must be able to pass background screening*
- Computer and phone/tablet application experience
- Disaster Restoration experience preferred but not required
- Experience in construction, maintenance, or related field is highly preferred
- This position does require a person who can work well independently as well as with a team and possess critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow company guidelines and standards
- Good verbal and written and communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Can read and follow product label usage instructions
- Ability to utilize ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to occasionally work in tight spaces including crawlspaces and attics
- Ability to wear PPE on hazardous jobs (tyvek suit, respirator, gloves, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Work Schedule:
Full time normal hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, evenings and weekends as necessary. (A one weeklong on-call schedule is rotated monthly for evenings and weekend jobs that come in after 5 pm) An on-call bonus is provided for response to after-hours jobs.
Salary:
This position is paid competitively and based on experience.
